Vault logins

The official Bitwarden apps

Browser extensions, desktop and mobile apps: choose Self-hosted, enter https://vault.privohub.com and log in with SSO.

End-to-end encrypted

Your master password encrypts the vault on your own device and never reaches our servers, so we could not read your passwords if we tried.

One sign-in

Single sign-on with the PrivoHub account you use for Photos and Drive, then your master password to unlock.

Nothing to run

No container to update, no database to back up, no certificate to renew. We look after the server on EU infrastructure.

Self-hosting vs managed

Why not run Vaultwarden yourself?

You can, and it is a fine project. But a password server is the one service you cannot afford to lose: it has to be reachable from every device, kept up to date, and backed up somewhere you have actually tested. PrivoHub Vault is that part done for you, on the same open-source server.

  • Backed up every night to separate, encrypted storage in the EU
  • Kept up to date with Vaultwarden releases
  • Reachable from anywhere over HTTPS, with no port forwarding
A login in the Vault
Built on open foundations

Open source on both ends.

The Bitwarden apps that encrypt your vault are open source and independently audited. Vaultwarden, the server they talk to, is open source too. PrivoHub runs it for you and publishes its changes on GitHub.

Bitwarden compatible

Vaultwarden speaks the Bitwarden protocol, so autofill, the password generator, secure notes, cards and Send all work as you expect.

Bring your passwords

Import from Bitwarden, 1Password, LastPass, your browser and more with the import tool in the web vault.

No lock-in

Export your vault from the web vault whenever you like, in standard formats.

Hosted Vaultwarden, answered

Do the official Bitwarden apps work with PrivoHub Vault?
Yes. On the login screen choose Self-hosted, set the server URL to https://vault.privohub.com, then log in with SSO and sign in with your PrivoHub account. The browser extensions and the desktop and mobile apps all work this way.
Is PrivoHub Vault affiliated with Bitwarden?
No. PrivoHub Vault runs Vaultwarden, an independent open-source server compatible with the Bitwarden apps. Neither PrivoHub nor Vaultwarden is associated with Bitwarden, Inc.
Can PrivoHub see my passwords?
No. Your vault is encrypted and decrypted on your own device with your master password, which is never sent to us. Our servers only ever store an encrypted copy.
What if I forget my master password?
Nobody can recover the vault, not even us: that is what end-to-end encryption means. Choose a strong master password and keep a copy somewhere physically safe.
Does it cost extra?
No. Vault is included in every PrivoHub plan, including the free one. Everyone you invite into your workspace gets their own Vault, which is never shared with anyone else.
How do I move from another password manager?
Export from your current manager, then use the import tool in the web vault at vault.privohub.com. It reads exports from Bitwarden, 1Password, LastPass, the major browsers and many more.
Where is my vault stored?
On our servers in the EU, backed up every night to separate, encrypted storage that is also in the EU.

Your vault, without the server.

Vault is included with every PrivoHub plan, even Free. Set your master password and import in minutes.
